Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information groomerpaycalc360.com ("the site," "we," "us") collects and how it is used. The calculators are free to use without an account. The site is operated by Edgewater Media LLC.

Data you enter into the calculators

Hours, dogs groomed, prices, and tips you enter are stored only in your browser's local storage (localStorage), with or without an account. This data is not sent to our servers and we have no access to it. Clearing your browser data or using a different device or browser will reset it, so export your weeks to CSV if you want a copy.

If you create an account

Accounts are optional and are used for Groomer Pay Calculator Pro. When you create one we store:

Your email address.
Your password, stored only as a one-way hash. We cannot read it.
If you sign in with Google instead, your email address and the account ID Google provides. We request only your email address from Google.
The date the account was created, and whether your Pro subscription is active.

When you sign in we set one cookie, gpc_session, that keeps you signed in for up to 30 days. It is used only for signing in and is not used for advertising.

Gallery photos

If you are a Pro member and send a photo to the gallery, we store the photo, its caption, the name you choose to show with it, and which account sent it. Photos are shown publicly only after they are approved. Your email address is never shown with a photo. You can delete your photos from the gallery page, and they are removed if your account is deleted.

Payments

Pro subscriptions are processed by Stripe. Card details are entered on Stripe's checkout page and never reach our servers. We store the Stripe customer and subscription IDs linked to your account so we can tell whether your subscription is active. Stripe's handling of your payment information is covered by the Stripe Privacy Policy.

Emails

Account emails, such as a welcome message or a password reset link, are sent through our email provider, Resend, which receives your email address and the message in order to deliver it.

If you join the mailing list, we store your email address, the page you signed up from, the date, and the country your connection came from. We use it only to send occasional pay guides. We never sell it, and you can ask to be removed at any time.

Deleting your data

To delete your account or remove your address from the mailing list, email hello@edgewater-media.com from the address in question and we will delete it. Calculator entries live in your browser, so you can delete those yourself by clearing this site's data.

Advertising: Google AdSense

This site displays ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. This is standard third-party ad personalization.

Analytics

This site uses Google Analytics to understand how many people visit and which pages they read. Analytics reporting is aggregate, and it is not used to identify individual visitors. The figures you type into the calculator are never included in analytics data.

Children's privacy

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through this site, contact us and we will remove it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site changes. Continued use of the site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
